Wagyu Experience Elite Club Membership Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the Wagyu Experience Elite Club Membership Program (“Membership Program”), operated by The Wagyu Experience (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By signing up for and using the Membership Program, you agree to these Terms.

1. Membership Tiers & Benefits
The Wagyu Experience Elite Club offers four distinct membership tiers, each with its own set of benefits:
Core Membership
• Personalized Digital Membership Card
• Quarterly Newsletter & Invitations to Exclusive Events
• Members-Only Promotions
• 5% Discount on selected items
Signature Membership
• Everything in Core, plus:
• Birthday Gift Voucher
• Invitation to Private Chef Nights
• Hire a Chef for Your Next Dinner Party
• Guest passes for selected events
• Access to Limited Edition Products
• Small Wagyu Gift Box
• 10% Discount on selected items
V.I.P. Membership
• Everything in Signature, plus:
• Complimentary 1-Night Lodge Stay per Year with 1 Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage Voucher
• 3 Bottles of Personalized Wagyu Elite Wine
• Medium Wagyu Gift Box
• 15% Discount on selected products
Platinum Membership
• Everything in V.I.P., plus:
• Additional Complimentary 1-Night Lodge Stay per Year (Total 2 Nights)
• Additional 3 Bottles of Personalized Wagyu Elite Wine (Total 6 Bottles)
• Large Wagyu Gift Box
• VIP Wagyu Calf Naming & Visit
• 20% Discount on selected products
Note: Selected items for discounts are the following:
• Deli Meat Products
• Steak & Burger Bar Food Items (not including specials)
• Wagyu, Wine & Whiskey Tastings
• Members- Only Wagyu Elite Wine
• Venue Hire
• Lodge Accommodation (booked directly with us)
Note: Membership benefits are non-transferable and may only be used by the registered member.
2. Membership Commitment & Renewal
• Commitment: By joining the Wagyu Experience Elite Club, you commit to receiving scheduled shipments of products for a minimum of one year, depending on your membership tier.
• Automatic Renewal: Membership will be automatically renewed for the next year unless terminated in writing by the member. Members can cancel at any time, but cancellation must be made in writing and received before the renewal date.
• No Refunds: All membership fees are non-refundable.
3. Payments and Pricing
• Pricing: All prices quoted include VAT at the prevailing rate (currently 15%).
• Payment Methods: Payments for membership can be made online on The Wagyu Experience website https://thewagyuexperience.co.za/memberships
• Price Changes: The Wagyu Experience Elite Club reserves the right to change membership fees or other prices at any time without prior notice. Members will be notified of any significant price changes.
4. Discounts & Special Offers
• No Double Discounts: Membership discounts cannot be combined with other offers, promotions, or special deals.
• Accommodation Discount: Discounts for lodge accommodation apply only to direct bookings. To redeem, please contact accommodation@thewagyu.co.za. Discount only applies to the member and their partner and is valid only for personal use, not business use.
• Booking Conditions: Discounted accommodation rates apply only when booking within the active membership period.
5. Vouchers
• Spa Vouchers: Spa vouchers can only be used at the Mountain Lodges. If you have a spa voucher, please inform us so we can make the booking on your behalf. Spa services are subject to availability.
6. Credit Card Information & Security
We prioritize your privacy and security. Any payment details you provide will only be used for processing your membership or orders and will not be shared with third parties. We guarantee that your personal details will remain confidential.
7. Delivery Policy
Please refer to our website for delivery policy for detailed information on shipping, delivery times, and associated costs. All deliveries will be made in accordance with the membership benefits and applicable shipping terms.
8. Termination of Membership
The Wagyu Experience Elite Club reserves the right to suspend or terminate your membership at any time if:
• You fail to comply with the Terms and Conditions.
• You engage in fraudulent or unlawful activities.
• Payment for membership is not received or becomes overdue.
Upon termination, you will lose access to all benefits, and no refunds will be issued for any unused portion of your membership.
9. Privacy & Data Protection
We take your privacy seriously and adhere to strict data protection laws. By joining the Membership Program, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your data will only be used for membership-related purposes and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Membership Program, including, but not limited to, any loss of benefits, events, or services.
11. Changes to Terms & Conditions
The Company reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or through your membership account. Your continued use of the Membership Program following any such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa, and any disputes related to the Membership Program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Paarl.
